Throughout her life as a Jedi, Satele Shan came to construct and own five lightsabers. Four of them were double-bladed lightsabers, all sporting the very same cylindrical and straight spiral design with producing a blue blade. At some point during the Cold War and the Galactic War, she also used a single lightsaber that shared the same spiral design as her saberstaffs. The saber also produced a yellow blade just like her ancestor Bastila.

Satele Shan first appeared in the 2009 webcomic Star Wars: The Old Republic, Threat of Peace.
