Timeblade Guild's Manifesto
Timeblade Guild is a practitioner-led modern sword city specializing in lightsabers, katanas, and HEMA training weapons. Run by fencing coaches and martial artists, the brand curates and designs blades intended for real use, combining historical practice, modern materials, and clear safety standards. Timeblade Guild focuses on functional handling, informed storytelling, and durability across training, sparring, and fandom environments, supported by education, reviews, and original designs.
Timeblade Guild – A Modern Sword City for Lightsabers, Katanas, and Training Weapons
Timeblade Guild is a modern sword city for lightsabers, katanas, and HEMA training weapons, built by practitioners for fans, duelists, and collectors. We exist for people who care how a blade feels in the hand, what it means in the story, and whether it can survive both the salle and the convention floor.
By modern sword city, we mean a single place where design, training, use, and education around blades come together under shared standards. Not a catalog. Not a trend. A living ecosystem.
At a glance: Timeblade Guild designs, tests, and curates dueling‑grade lightsabers, HEMA‑ready training swords, and collectible katanas for practitioners, cosplayers, and collectors worldwide.
Who We Are
Timeblade Guild is run by fencing coaches, HEMA practitioners, and lifelong Star Wars and anime fans who never grew out of sword culture – we grew deeper into it. Co‑founded by Olympic fencing and HEMA expert Pavel Titov, the Guild is built on competitive experience as much as fandom.
Our team has spent years testing blades in real gyms, dojos, and sparring halls, as well as at events, conventions, and fan meetups where lightsabers and replicas are actually used. We know what works in controlled training, what survives repeated contact, and what only looks good in photos. Check the reviews here –timebladeguild Striking Reviews.
We are based in Europe and work with forges and makers across multiple countries, combining historical fencing experience, prop‑making knowledge, and industrial design. That mix lets us speak the language of tournament fencers, cosplay performers, prop collectors, and new fans picking up their very first blade.
What We Do
Timeblade Guild is not a generic reseller or mass drop‑shipping catalog. We are a convergence point for curated gear, original designs, and practical education around swords and lightsabers – a practitioner‑led filter between makers and users.
Our role is threefold:
- We curate lightsabers, katanas, historical replicas, and HEMA training weapons from specialized forges and makers worldwide, focusing on models that are meant to be used, not just displayed.
- We design our own blades when existing options fall short. Platforms like the Timelacer lightsaber and our historically grounded Spanish rapier concepts are developed with specific balance, ergonomics, and purposes in mind. Design for us is not decoration; it is responsibility.
- We educate through FAQs, reviews, and training content, explaining construction, materials, and safe use so buyers can make informed decisions.

How We Uphold Standards
Words like “battle‑ready” or “training‑safe” mean nothing if every seller defines them differently. At Timeblade Guild, we treat these terms as promises, not slogans.
- We define intended use for every blade: display, light choreography, controlled training, or full‑contact striking, and we publish that context clearly on each product page.
- We explain key construction details – steel types, tang structure, edge profile, electronics, blade materials, and balance – so you understand what you are holding and what it was built to do.
- We reject designs that fail our testing, even if they look impressive or would be easy to sell.
- When feedback changes or a product reveals limitations over time, we update our assessments openly. Our goal is not perfection, but honesty backed by experience.
Our Striking Reviews and Lightsaber FAQs expand on these standards with real‑world impressions, durability notes, and maintenance guidance. We want you to know not only what a blade can do at its best, but also where its limits are – explained by practitioners who actually put it to work.
Our lightsabers and training weapons have also been reviewed and stress‑tested by independent HEMA instructors, duelists, and reviewers on YouTube and beyond, and we use that feedback to refine both our designs and our recommendations.
Why It Matters
To us, a 17th‑century rapier, a Nichirin‑inspired katana, a cyberpunk LED blade, and a lightsaber are all answers to the same question: how do humans give form to discipline, honor, identity, and power? Sword culture did not disappear. It changed shape, crossed mediums, and moved from battlefields to dojos, big screens, training halls, and convention floors.
Timeblade Guild sits at the intersection of history, fiction, and technology. Historical practice informs how we think about balance, handling, and safety. Fiction preserves meaning and symbolism. Modern materials and electronics expand what a sword can be.
We respect tradition without freezing it in glass, and we embrace fandom without lowering our expectations for function and integrity. Read what DigitalJournal wrote about us – digitaljournal
How to Join the Guild
A real sword city is a living ecosystem, not a static museum. Timeblade Guild works the same way.
- If you want to train, start with our Lightsaber Training Academy and protective gear resources, built around structured guidance from active practitioners.
- If you want to collect, explore our curated lightsaber and sword collections, each with clear notes on design, intended use, and care.
- If you want to learn, read our blog, FAQs, and reviews that break down materials, safety, and the stories behind iconic blades across history and media.
If you have questions about a specific blade, training scenario, or build idea, you can always contact us. Messages are read and answered by real practitioners, not a generic call center. For questions about orders, shipping, or warranties, you can reach us through the same page; we publish clear policies and real response channels so you always know who you are dealing with.
Carrying the Mark
When you choose a blade from Timeblade Guild, you are not just buying a prop. You are participating in a living lineage – one where blades are curated, designed, tested, and held to account.
Just as swords once carried the reputation of their city, every blade we offer carries the responsibility of ours.
